In the Congo, our Women’s Director (Angel) has been empowering vulnerable women with various micro-projects. Three women are interested in farming so she brought them to her home and began teaching them. She encouraged them to have a garden at home to help with nutrition of their kids. In addition, if they plant enough, this can help them to sell what they grow and pay school fees for their kids.
Angel has a unique ability to help women discover their potential, overcome the obstacles of poverty and the mindsets that create helplessness. She is then able to provide them with skills and resources, like this gardening project, that can vastly improve their lives.
